Imanuel Geovasky is a doctoral student at the Indonesian Consortium for Religious Studies (ICRS), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Ordained as a pastor in the Christian Church of Java, he holds a Master of Arts in Peace Studies from the Graduate School of Public Policy and Social Research, International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan, and a Bachelor of Theology from the Faculty of Theology, Duta Wacana Christian University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. His research interests focus on polarization, identity politics, religious tolerance, peace education, and peacebuilding.
